my "RULES"

Here are some of what I will be folling for the month of December! If I can do all of these for a month, without fail, I will be great! Getting into the routine of these things is going to be the hardest I am sure-but here we go :)
  1. Stop eating foods with added sugar, especially refined sugar. No soda and no sweets.
  2. Avoid as best possible anything that has ”Concentrated Glucose-Fructose”. This is the worst possible glucose you can eat.
  3. Stop eating fried foods. No french fries, no fried chicken, nothing fried.
  4. Cut down to the maximum of saturated and trans. fat. If its sticky and waxy, its probably saturated.
  5. Drink a lot of water. 1/2 your body-weight in ounces of fresh cold water for best results. which means I need to drink 84oz OR 10.5 cups!!
  6. Eat more vegetables. Such as greens, carrots, tomatoes, all sorts of vegetables.
  7. Eat small (no more than 300-400 calories) meals five times a day. Each meal must contain proteins, fibers and must be low in fat.
  8. Workout at least 4 times per week, between 1h and 2hr a day! YAY! lol
  9. Eat high protein meals right after a workout. (within 1 hour). Avoid eating too much meat (except for lean healthy meat such as chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, grass fed beef). Ensure that you eat beans, lentils, chick peas, quinoa or egg whites. Optionally (and what is highly recommend), you can take protein supplements such as Whey Protein Shakes right after a workout. Try to eat at least 60 grams of proteins a day with as least fat as possible.--Will have to look into different post-workout foods!
  10. Stop eating 2 hours before going to bed (especially with bad carbs and bad fats).--This is going to be hard for me too! I never know when I will go to bed each day..maybe I should establish a bedtime for myself??

Healthier Lifestyle here I come!

Well....
I started the Body By ViSalus 90 day challenge on September 6-and am down 23lbs since then. It has been so easy to do (and with very little exercise as well!) It is just two shakes a day-and a healthy dinner. I do recommend it to everyone-I loved them! But now, my 90 days is now coming to an end, and I am not ready to stop losing! I thought about doing another 90 day challenge-but I have decided to get my diet on the right track from here on out! Something that both my kids and I can eat together. I am going to try to post the exercises that I do, recipes and nutritional info to them as well as any other tips I have for anyone else wanting to lose weight! I will be getting pretty personal and hope that you would keep the judgmental comments, giggling, and snickering away from here!

determination

de·ter·mi·na·tion-the act of coming to a decision or of fixing or settling purpose.
"The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination."

ready....get set..

This is a blog I am starting to help track my weight loss goals and progress.
feel free to join in all the fun! HA
I am ready to kick this weight loss in to as high of a gear as I possibly can!
It may be a slow start for myself
[[due to bfing i cannot really "diet"]]
but eating healthier, cutting out all my candy and caffine "addictions" is a darn good place to start!!
[[and since baby was born 2 weeks ago, excersizing will be slow at first]]
allthough i personally cannot wait to start zumba, and other fun excersize classes!!

I have found a pair of Miss Me jeans that i am absolutely IN LOVE with
and am going to buy them with my very next pay check.....
                        ...in my goal pants size...
hopefully by Christmas time [[or SOONER]]
                        I will be wearing them!
--are you ready, get set...........................

                          GO!
